The Lockerstor Gen3 is equipped with two USB4* Type-C ports providing ultra-high speeds of up to 40 Gbps. Plug in USB4, Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4 storage devices to transfer your work and personal data at speeds never before seen on an ASUSTOR NAS.

* AMD's Ryzen Embedded V3000 series CPUs do not support direct connect USB4 host-to-host networking. This means that the USB4 ports on an ASUSTOR device using the V3000 series of CPUs will not connect to a computer or mac directly through USB4 or Thunderbolt ports. The heat dissipation solution in the Lockerstor Gen3 uses heat pipes and fins to dissipate waste heat from the CPU, enabling the Lockerstor Gen3 to chew through virtually any storage task you throw at it.
