1. Configuring Windows

We will be using a computer running Windows 11 as an example.


1.1 Opening Credential Manager in Windows


STEP 1

  • In Windows 11, click [Search] on the [Taskbar].
  • Enter [Control] and then you will find [Control Panel] here.
  • Click on [Open].


STEP 2

  • Click on [Credential Manager].



1.2 Remove Credentials


STEP 1

  • Select [Windows Credentials].
  • Select the Windows Credentials that you want to remove. In the example below, 172.16.11.47 is the credential for the NAS.


STEP 2

  • Click [Remove].


STEP 3

  • Click [Yes] in the confirmation dialog box.
  • The NAS credential stored on this Windows computer will be removed.
